about
We build technology
for people overlooked.
We work on problems where a demo is not enough. The prototype has to make sense outdoors, with real people, under real constraints.
origin
“We did not start with a product idea. We started with Dimas, a friend with cataract blindness who never stopped caring about sport.”
Kaindra Rizq Sachio, Team Lead
Labmino began with four of us wanting to build something that was useful to a real person. Not a polished demo. Not a class project that disappears after submission. Something someone would actually try to use outside, where conditions are messy.
Our first idea was broader navigation. Then field interviews and observations narrowed the problem. Walking had tools. Running alone on a public track still depended heavily on a guide runner. That became RunSight.
RunSight was the first project. The way we built it stuck with us. Talk to the people involved, test early, treat safety as part of the design, and keep changing the prototype when reality pushes back.

mission
We build technology that gives people more room to move, starting with the people most often left out.
Technology always makes a choice about who it fits. We would rather make that choice clearly. We start with the person who has the least margin for error, then build outward from there.
That is not charity. It is good engineering. Harder use cases force better decisions, and those decisions tend to make the whole product cleaner.
values
People first
We start with a real person in a real situation. The tech has to earn its place around that, not the other way around.
Build until it can be tested
A prototype is only useful if it meets the real world. We care less about a perfect demo and more about what happens outside the lab.
Write down what we learn
When something works, we keep the reason. When something fails, we keep that too. The problems we care about are bigger than one team.
Think past the showcase
Winning a competition is not the finish line. The work matters more if someone can still use it after the event is over.
